Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Artist's Description
This is an 8"x10" original oil on panel painted on the summer solstice. The view is located at the Forest Beach Conservation area, in South Chatham, on Cape Cod. This area is prime nesting and fishing for osprey, and for much of the time that I was painting this, I could hear the osprey chicks calling for "more food" from their busy parents. I can't wait until the chicks fledge!

Barbara DuBois Hageman trained in classical painting and drawing techniques at the Lyme Academy College of Fine Arts, in Connecticut. LAFA is an NASAD, NEASC-accredited, classical art college (www.lymeacademy.edu). In addition, Barbara holds both Bachelor and Master of Arts degrees from the University of Connecticut. Barbara's paintings include images of New England's shorelines. She often includes people, particularly children, in her works.
